Terms of Use
Effective date: October 29, 2026
Welcome to the website of Professional Insurance Experts, LLC ("PIE," "we," "us," or "our"), an independent insurance agency and broker located at 5 Cowboys Way, Suite 300, Frisco, TX 75034. Texas agency license No. 1930218.
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to your use of https://proiexp.com and any related pages, forms, and downloads (the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Information Only — No Coverage Is Bound Through the Site
The Site provides general information about insurance products and our services. Product descriptions are summaries only. The actual terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions of any coverage are set out in the policy issued by the insurance carrier, and the policy controls.
- Submitting an application, form, email, or document through the Site does not bind, change, or cancel coverage.
- Coverage is bound only when it is confirmed in writing by PIE or the insurance carrier.
- Do not assume a request has been received or acted on until you receive written confirmation from us.
- All quotes are estimates, are subject to underwriting review and carrier approval, and may change based on the final information provided. Not all products are available in all states or to all applicants.
3. Accuracy of Application Information
If you submit an application or other information to us, you are responsible for making sure it is complete, accurate, and truthful, and for updating us if anything changes before or after coverage is bound. Insurance carriers rely on this information to decide whether to offer coverage and at what price.
Misstatements, omissions, or concealment of facts, including incomplete claims history or incorrect revenue figures, may lead to a denied claim, a premium adjustment, or the cancellation, rescission, or voiding of coverage. Knowingly providing false or misleading information to obtain insurance may also be a crime.
If you submit information on behalf of a business or another person, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.
4. No Professional or Legal Advice
Content on the Site, including our blog, is for general information only. It is not legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice, and it is not a recommendation that any particular coverage is right for you. Your insurance needs depend on your specific situation. Please speak with one of our licensed agents about your coverage, and consult your own attorney or accountant for legal or tax questions.
5. Intellectual Property
The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, forms, PDF applications, and blog articles, are owned by PIE or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may view, download, and print content for your own personal or internal business use, such as completing an application. You may not copy, modify, republish, sell, or distribute Site content for any other purpose without our written permission. Carrier names and logos belong to their respective owners.
6. Acceptable Use
When using the Site, you agree not to:
- Submit false information, or information about another person or business without authorization.
- Upload viruses, malware, or any harmful or illegal files.
- Try to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or other users' information.
- Interfere with the Site's operation, including by bypassing reCAPTCHA or other security features.
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to collect content or submit forms.
- Use the Site to send spam or for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
We may suspend or block access to the Site for anyone who violates these Terms.
7. Third-Party Links and Payment Portal
The Site includes links to third-party websites, such as insurance carriers, our social media pages (Facebook, LinkedIn, and X), and a third-party online payment portal operated by Input1. These sites are provided for your convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, security, availability, or practices.
Payments made through the payment portal are processed by that provider under its own terms and privacy policy. PIE is not responsible for errors, delays, fees, or security incidents caused by the payment provider. A payment is not considered received until it has been processed and credited. If you have a question about a payment, please contact us.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, PIE makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We work to keep the Site accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted, or that information on it is current.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, PIE and its owners, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site, its content, or any third-party site, even if we were told such damages were possible.
This section applies to your use of the Site only. It does not limit any obligations we have to you as your insurance agent under a separate agreement or under applicable law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PIE and its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.
11. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any legal action relating to these Terms or the Site must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas, and you agree to the jurisdiction of those courts.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
13. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and PIE about your use of the Site.
